The MIDI contains computer-readable notation, not a sampled piano recording. CURRENT SOUNDTRACK No. 15's 30-bar minor section remains the Morrdor 9 music. Its actual native bass motif (C2 B1 C2 G1 A1 B1), chord stabs and breaks are the musical keystone for four new explicitly written arcade themes: intro, Neptune, Haze and Lava Tiger. A fifth written theme, Slipstreams / The Black Between, carries the same rolling bass into a slower 3/8 liquid-travel loop, open-fifth harmonies, chromatic-mediant detours and octave echoes. These are new melodies, harmonic routes and forms, rather than direct piano transcriptions. NG+ uses The Black Undertow, a darker 112.5 BPM variation with Phrygian inflections, driving bass, chord stabs and kick/snare percussion. The normal slipstream theme now plays at 90 BPM, retaining its dreamy written parts and sparse percussion; NG+ remains at 112.5 BPM. Their source motif remains public domain. The first two bosses retain the No. 9 La Chasse arrangement. Success/ending retains No. 1 La Candeur. The former intro/Neptune/Haze arrangements have been removed. No. 3 and No. 10 notation remains archived for provenance/history, but is no longer part of the cartridge score. Native arrangements lower registers, reduce chords to four pitched voices, articulate note boundaries and add sparse percussion. Exact selections and written forms appear in assets/audio-score.json and docs/audio.md. Source adaptations and new written arcade music are distinguished in that manifest. The source scores remain public domain. This provenance file is also included in the HTML5 package as MUSIC-CREDITS.txt, alongside THIRD-PARTY.txt.
